The idea of ShowCase Africa In London (SCALon) Weekend is to bring together professionals and entrepreneurs living in the UK to interact informally over a weekend of Afro-centric activities in London ranging from the Performing Arts, Entertainment, Discussion and Food of African taste pivoting around a particular event of the planned weekend in London.
The events will be self catering (i.e. participants attending the activities included in the events will be responsible for booking their tickets / pay related bills themselves where applicable)
Participants can "Hop on and off" the organised activities i.e. they may join any or all of the planned activities in the itinerary as they please.
The planning and organising of these weekend events will be done
collaboratively with groups of professionals and
entrepreneurs of African heritage living in London representing their
various niche of Afro-centric causes and ventures.

The showcase weekend activities attempts at catering for professionals and entrepreneurs of all backgrounds and heritage to engage with the ongoings in the African community in London.
Whether or not you are of African descent, SCALon is for you to come enjoy a variety of Afrocentric discussions, entertainment, cultural activities and cuisine
SCALon showcase activities will be planned for at least 4 times in the year with at least 1 held in each calendar quarter pivoting around events happening in the African community in London.
The activities will span over a weekend (Friday evening to Sunday evening) as follows:
